Kevin A. Nery, CBB, LCBI, M&AMI, President, has over 40 years of business experience in accounting, taxation, management, manufacturing, marketing and consulting. He has achieved the Certified Business Broker (CBB), Lifetime Certified Business Intermediary (LCBI) and Merger and Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) professional designations. Mr. Nery is a Graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
As a professional business intermediary, Mr. Nery is able to utilize his personal and professional experiences in start-ups, buying, selling, and owning his own companies. He has held positions in banking, manufacturing, with CPA firms, and a retail corporation prior to founding the firm in 2000. Over the years, Mr. Nery has sold over 200 businesses and valued hundreds of businesses, professional firms, and companies. He has extensive knowledge of business sales, mergers, acquisitions, business valuations, and commercial real estate sales and leasing.
Mr. Nery is affiliated nationally with The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), The M & A Source, The National Equipment Business Brokers Institute, and The Society of Business Analysts. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) as Treasurer.
Mr. Nery is also a Member of the New Bedford Economic Development Council, One SouthCoast Chamber, and was a Featured Columnist in the monthly “South Coast Business Bulletin” for many years. In addition, he has been a Guest Speaker on WBSM 1420 AM’s weekly show, “Money Wise,” is a Contributing Intermediary with BIZCOMPS© Completed Business Sales Statistics, and has been named to the Hall of Fame for Pratt’s Stats® Sold Business Database.
