CBB, LCBI, M&AMI, President

Kevin A. Nery, CBB, LCBI, M&AMI, President, has over 40 years of business experience in accounting, taxation, management, manufacturing, marketing and consulting. He has achieved the Certified Business Broker (CBB), Lifetime Certified Business Intermediary (LCBI) and Merger and Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) professional designations. Mr. Nery is a Graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

As a professional business intermediary, Mr. Nery is able to utilize his personal and professional experiences in start-ups, buying, selling, and owning his own companies. He has held positions in banking, manufacturing, with CPA firms, and a retail corporation prior to founding the firm in 2000. Over the years, Mr. Nery has sold over 200 businesses and valued hundreds of businesses, professional firms, and companies. He has extensive knowledge of business sales, mergers, acquisitions, business valuations, and commercial real estate sales and leasing.

Mr. Nery is affiliated nationally with The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), The M & A Source, The National Equipment Business Brokers Institute, and The Society of Business Analysts. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) as Treasurer, and the Business Brokers Alliance of New England (BBANE) as Secretary.

Mr. Nery is also a Member of the New Bedford Economic Development Council, One SouthCoast Chamber, and was a Featured Columnist in the monthly “South Coast Business Bulletin” for many years. In addition, he has been a Guest Speaker on WBSM 1420 AM’s weekly show, “Money Wise,” is a Contributing Intermediary with BIZCOMPS© Completed Business Sales Statistics, and has been named to the Hall of Fame for Pratt’s Stats® Sold Business Database.

Adam J. Bradshaw, CBI

Adam J. Bradshaw, CBI, Broker, has over 20 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Information Technology.

Mr. Bradshaw is a Graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management.

Adam has taken the core curriculum at the International Business Brokers (IBBA) University and has passed the CBI exam and received the Certified Business Intermediary Professional Designation.

Adam has spent years in the Golf Industry with International Manufacturers and Distribution Companies responsible for Corporate Management, Sales and Marketing.  He also was associated with the nation’s top luxury Real Estate Auction Firm as a Client Services and Database/Marketing Manager.

Mr. Bradshaw is a member of New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA), Business Brokers Alliance of New England (BBANE) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).

Adam enjoys golfing and volunteering as a youth sports coach and resides in New Bedford, MA.

Justin Grolley, MBA, CBI, CMEA, Broker is experienced in sales, marketing,  information technology and finance.

Mr. Grolley is a Graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and also earned a Master of Business Administration, MBA Degree.

Justin has earned several professional designations.  He his a Certified Business Intermediary, (CBI), and a Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser, (CMEA).

Justin has a broad business background working as a product marketing specialist, in client services, a product manager, and an account manager throughout his award-winning career.

He is detail-oriented, personable, and knowledgeable. He enjoys assisting business owners and future business owners achieve their goals in a professional, confidential environment.

Justin is a member of New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA), Business Brokers Alliance of New England (BBANE), the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), and the South Coast Business Alliance (SCBA).

Justin enjoys skiing, golf, and traveling and resides with his family in E. Freetown, MA.


Neil J. Corkum, MBA, CRPC
Senior Broker

Neil J. Corkum, MBA, CRPC, Broker, has over 40 years of business experience in the areas of finance, consulting, strategy, market research, competitive analysis, marketing, and management. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).

Mr. Corkum is a Graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Finance from Babson College.

Neil’s experience includes senior finance and market research roles with major financial services companies, as well as deep management consulting experience, serving a wide-range of clients, with a leading firm. During his previous work with The Nery Corporation, Neil successfully assisted numerous business owners, and also buyers, and is experienced in valuation and the sales process.

Adept at effectively managing business functions on a day-to-day basis, Neil excels at evaluating processes and talent to improve efficiencies and cost savings. Neil is an effective communicator and collaborator who thinks strategically to drive positive business.

Neil is a member of New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).

Neil enjoys golf, traveling, and gardening. He resides with his family in Rehoboth, MA.

Ridgway J. Crouch, SBA, CMEA, Senior Broker, has over 45 years of business experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, management, manufacturing, computer network and communication systems, and financial analysis.

Mr. Crouch is a Graduate of California State University, Sonoma with a Degree in Business Administration. He has a diverse educational background which includes Bryant University, the University of Michigan, and professional certificate programs completed nationally. He has held Senior Management positions in the energy, manufacturing, security technology, and government contracting industries.

Mr. Crouch has also been active on the Board of Directors of local, regional, and statewide organizations. Ridgway is an experienced and effective communicator, negotiator, and facilitator. Mr. Crouch has achieved the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) professional designations. Ridgway leads our affiliated Company, Coastal Machinery and Equipment Appraisers, which performs Appraisals on all Machinery and Equipment categories such as manufacturing, transportation, construction, agriculture, printing, medical / dental, marine, aircraft, restaurants, etc.


Sarah J. Sumner
Marketing Coordinator

Sarah J. Sumner, Marketing Coordinator at the Nery Corporation, supports each division with their marketing efforts in order to effectively grow the company’s footprint through unique marketing campaigns, their websites, and digital media marketing content.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from UMass Dartmouth and has built her marketing skills and expertise from previous marketing roles within various client-serviced industries.

Her authentic spirit, sense of humor, and dedication to her work all ensure that all marketing projects and digital media interactions are done in an effective and efficient manner.


Doreen A. Fernandes
Accounting, Due Diligence

Doreen A. Fernandes has over 35 years of experience in Legal Administration, Management and Bookkeeping. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth and her Paralegal Certificate at Northeastern University.

Ms. Fernandes has spent her career working with area Attorneys, Accountants, Real Estate and Business Professionals, continuing to build upon her client/business relations skills.  As an integral part of our team, she accurately compiles and organizes all pertinent information needed for a smooth transaction. Performing such due diligence in the early stages allows us to proactively identify and resolve any unforeseen issues that may hinder negotiations. This also helps us present the client’s information in such a way that instills confidence in the buyer and shortens the due diligence period between the execution of the letter of intent and the actual closing.
